This is the home page for the OPC project from the Philleigh Parish. My name is Sharon and I am the OPC for Philleigh, Lamorran, Blisland, Botus Fleming and Menheniot

Philleigh in ancient times was known as Eglos-Ros, meaning Heath Church. The present church is a typical Cornish one dating from about the 15th Century. The tower and font are from the 13th. It was restored in 1867.

On these pages it is hoped to put as much information as possible relating to Philleigh.

I would be grateful for any information that you have relating to Philleigh.

If you wish to contact me feel free Sharon
